Curated: New work by Natale Adgnot

ti-studio-portrait.jpg

Natale Adgnot is a Brooklyn-based artist who creates sculptural drawings made of painted thermoplastic. Her intricate works appear to be two-dimensional sketches when viewed frontally and come into relief when viewed from other angles. Her new series, Chromaticism, references a term in music theory where one uses notes that are outside of a piece’s key. Like adding notes in between the white notes of a scale, Adgnot’s pieces vibrate with new meaning.
